Slice of Life

So this is a "Slice of Life" from me. So there was this one time where my dad’s car was on outside the garage on the patio thing on the floor and I thought it was a good idea to climb the truck trying to go on top of the garage, so I barely reached to climb the truck so it was even harder to climb the garage but somehow I was able to go on top of the garage. Once I got on top I saw some birds and realized, that I didn't have any bread to feed them, so I went down, into the house got some bread and went back outside, went on top of the truck and then the garage to feed the birds and as soon as I put ONE piece of bread on the tile of the garage and about 20 birds came to fight for the bread and one chubby bird was smart so while every bird was fighting he stole it. Once I ran out of bread I sat there until I got caught by my dad and got a lecture about the dangers of being on top of a garage.

Digital Citzenship

 This is how IM going to take care of my IPad; Not eating or drinking around the IPad because crumbs and water could possibly damage the iPad. After I'm done using it I will turn it off to save battery and prevent from my brother editing things I have in some of my apps. Last but not least, once the iPad is at low battery I will charge it at a respectable time and I WILL charge it before school and have it ready for school. For the charger I will not charge my iPad with the charger having to be bent in order to charge it which means I will charge my iPad safely along with the charger.

Freestyle

My awesome weekend! On Saturday on went to a place called the October Fest with my friend, we went on three rides, the Black Widow, a tiny roller coaster that goes FAST, and a giant slide. The Black Widow was the first "ferris wheel" me and my friend ever went to, it went diagonally and went it went up the pressure of the wind made our heads go down and I even saw the top of a building the whole time my friend kept saying I'm scared and screaming, when I was screaming it was screams of someone being ALIVE, like I just kept screaming YEAH!!! On the roller coaster it was so fast that the pressure made me go to the left crushing my friend. On the GIANT slide me and my friend got to the top and almost fell face first on the concrete but we went on the rag they gave us and went super fast while looking at the stars above us. That was it for the October Fest. On Sunday I went to the Shedd Aquarium with the same friend, it took forever to get inside the aquarium itself, when we went inside I took so many videos and my friend took so many pictures. She also bought this huge dolphin plush that I got to name Finelophe which is so fluffy but she got it wet at the touch pool. After that we went to another touch pool to touch stingrays which were very slimey. That was it for the aquarium, she tweeted about it and they responded. After the aquarium we went to a restaurant and my friend isn't use to eating spicy things so she got a tortilla chip and put the slightest bit of salsa and her mouth was BURNING, she had to drink half her water bottle. I ate 3 AMAZING tacos so did she and we ordered a sope we didn't even like. After that we visited my old house which she's never seen so I was happy about that and we played games, the first one is we're we have to balance of a plastic/metal pole the longest, I of course won with 22 seconds. The second game was were we played hide and seek and when I found them we started petting a dog. The third game was were we picked up a rock and threw it as far as we could, my friend won once and I won once, sadly my little brother didn't win once. We left and dropped her off at her house.

We Movement

The We Movement is a movement that helps bring people together to give people tools to help them change the world, as they say it "Me to We". Last week we had an assembly about the We Movement and a person came named Reggie and talked to us about the We Movement and then gave us a would you rather question. Would you rather have access to water or a free education, I chose free education.

News This Week

Man, 9-11 is a sad day, because so many people died and had no chance of escape if they were above where the plane crashed into the twin towers. Honestly it's sad that the a “Wheel of Disasters" landed on plane crashes 4 times, what are the odds of that happening? Ms. Haury put a video and the video had someone speak and they sounded like they were above where the plane crashed. Another disaster, I don't understand with there was hurricane Harvey right before that was about to end hurricane Irma came along and it's still strong AND then hurricane Jose and then hurricane Katia. I don't understand why there is so many hurricanes going on and then before Irma started there was a volcano that exploded and a earthquake hit Mexico. I don't know why these thing are happening now. I just don't get it.
