Fiction vs Non-Fiction

Fiction: Short stories or novels that describes imaginary events and people. The cow that jumped over the moon
Non Fiction: Wtiting that is only facts about something like the book Lizards

I enjoy reading fiction books as well as non fiction but I do have some arguments about them both.
For example if you’re reading a fiction book you can’t just go on any page to understand what the book is, like you have a new fiction book right? You can’t just go to page 6 and understand things, imagine if you have a quiz on it, you have to read the whole thing leading up to that. Now, non fiction books are educational, that’s what they’re supposed to do, but when you read one you’re just not into it because whenever you read one, it doesn’t appeal to you because it isn’t as fun of exciting because you could be reading a dragon taming novel and something awesome happens, and that only is in fiction because it’s imaginary. Non fiction books are alright but they have a way more harder time to draw in the reader unless it’s filled with hooks making you want to read more. Ergo making my preference  fiction.
